I am continually amazed by the enthusiasm and generosity of my students! Having started my new yoga classes in Belfast on Wednesdays and Thursdays at Flow Studio, I’m being introduced to more students, some beginners and some experienced. And, of course, they are being introduced to me and my teaching.
Often you can teach for quite a while before you begin to hear what students really think of your classes. Obviously, if people keep turning up to class, you’re probably doing something right! But you can never really be sure that you’re inspiring your students to truly live the yogic path.
With this in mind, it was wonderful to hear a comment via Liz who asked me to join Flow Studio Belfast. A friend of her’s had attended a class I was covering. She said I took her on a yogic journey! How wonderful! I must admit I have been riding the high of this for days!
This brought me to the question “What inspires you?” Is it how your teacher expresses the practice? Or is it the tone of their voice? Asking yourself this question may help to invigorate your practice!
